Note: The price per mobile terminated (MT) SMS will be adjusted up with 0,005 Euro from the 1st of July 2008 for all customers.
Invoice amount ("Purchase price" in the table above) is the amount billed as deposit to the pre-paid SMS Gateway account. This account is mandatory for all product packages except the Enterprise VIP package.
Price per message for outbound traffic (mobile terminated) depends on the invoice amount - a higher invoice amount returns a lower price per message. The currency of the Gateway is Euro (EUR). All messages are debited the SMS account. To see the real prices you must select "EUR" from the currency list above. Prices in all other currencies are calculated from EUR with the exchange rate of today, and are only displayed for convenience.
Prices per SMS are basically the same for all destination countries/networks, with the following exceptions:
- Extra interconnect fee of EUR 0,050 for each SMS terminated in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Iran, Italy, Portugal, Romania.
- Extra interconnect fee of EUR 0,025 for each SMS terminated in the following countries: Australia, Hungary, Indonesia, UK, US.
Messages of a size that requires more than one SMS to be delivered, like Ringing tones (1 or 2 SMS), Picture messages (always 3 SMS), or plain text messages longer than 160 characters. These messages will be charged for the actual number of SMS needed to deliver the message. Operator logos are always one single SMS.
Price for outbound MMS (mobile terminated traffic): NOK 2,50 (Norway only)
Price for Premium messages: NOK 1-100 charged on the mobile subscriber bill. Revenue share according to agreement. (Norway only)
Price for inbound SMS (mobile originated traffic):
- To Norwegian short numbers: free (Norway only)
- To UK number, per SMS: EUR 0,02
Invoice and payment
The pre-paid "SMS Gateway account" is a mandatory part of all product packages except the Enterprise VIP package. Setup fees and deposit to the SMS Gateway account are both billed when ordering. Traffic fees and Recurring/monthly fees are debited the SMS account successively. When "Automatic refill" is used the SMS account will be topped and billed again when 75% of the account balance is consumed. When "Automatic refill" is not used we only send an e-mail to suggest a new top up.
International- and private customers must use a credit card, or bank transfer upon agreement. Norwegian companies and organisations are ordinary billed with 20/30 days payment due. International customers are billed in Euro. Norwegian customers are billed in NOK. You may decide the exact invoice amount yourself, above the minimum amount of EUR 25.
You are free to consume the SMS account balance within any time period, but the balance will be reduced to 1 EUR if left unused for more than one year. All products with Setup fee involved are bound by a 90 days notice to quit except otherwise stated for a given product.
Message prices are excluded VAT. VAT is only charged Norwegian Customers.
